Your Future Real Estate Transaction can Support Kenechi

As a member of Investing In Communities®, Kenechi can receive funding as a result of any brokered real estate transaction – home sales, home purchases, or commercial leases. As more supporters use this platform, before engaging a real estate agent, Kenechi will have more resources to continue to help youth and individuals to overcome structural oppression.

Mission

Kenechi brings people, organizations, technology, and developmental and educational resources together in accessible 24/7, digital and mobile services. Kenechi helps underserved youths, young adults and agencies that support them achieve life-shaping and life-changing goals. Kenechi is dedicated to sustaining our relationship with those we serve for as long as they need our support, be it one youth or a group served by an agency. We commit to get a youth from point A to B as defined in their personal growth plan. We impart the spiritual core, values and skills needed to overcome systemic inequities, achieve a life fulfilled and proclaim: “Thanks be to God!” which is what Kenechi means in Igbo.

Overcoming Structural Oppression Through Self-Discovery

We serve as a bridge to assist underserved youth and young adults on their journey of self-discovery. The problems that hinder underserved youth are rooted in structural forms of oppression that prevent them from readily accessing fruitful resources and community. These barriers include, but are not limited to, failing educational systems, poverty, lack of medical resources, etc. Kenechi not only seeks to eliminate these structures in the world, but also to provide fruitful resources and a committed community to assist youth through their process of overcoming and becoming.

History of Kenechi

One day, the Founder of The Panadero Organization, LLC reflected on his past and imagined that many youths ask themselves the question “Who am I?” and “Where am I going?” Then, as they grow into adulthood, the questions shift to “how did I get here” and may also continue to include “Who am I?” if not realized by then. The answers to these questions are critical and can prove to either be the stepping stone to a path of a life fulfilled or stumbling blocks to a life longing for purpose and the hope of something better. As a youth, he asked these same questions and then, as he grew older and realized that he never received the complete or satisfying answers that he had hoped for, it led him to wonder: “What would my life have been if I did?” After reflecting, he decided to launch Kenechi, Inc. out of his vision to help youths have a better chance than he had at achieving a life fulfilled.

Kenechi Programs

Our programs take three forms and they are all vitally important to the mission of Kenechi. The first form is our online video content platform where our audience can engage with a variety of self-help videos. These videos range from cooking a wholesome meal to films on the importance of community building in college for first-generation students of color. The second form is the personalized development plans for agencies. We understand that growth and development is a process and every successful process needs to have steps. Through our curriculum, we create acquirable steps that serve as a roadmap for personal growth and development. Lastly, our mentoring program seeks to create life-long relationships that are rooted in accountability, resourcefulness and trust. Mentees will have mentors that work with them in accomplishing their goals with the expectation that mentees will one day become Kenechi mentors.
