Companies:

Individuals: Information you provide and how this information is used
Full name & email address Required. We use this information to correspond with you regarding broker referrals, which may include confirmation emails, receipts, acknowledgment messages, request for clarification, and follow up.
Location Information: When completing the broker referral request form, we ask about the location of the property being sold and/or the desired location of property being sought so that we may find brokers that are most familiar with that particular market area. We do not need street address information.

Charities: Information you provide How this information is used

Information that we automatically collect during your visit to our website
Our web server automatically recognizes and collects the domain name and IP address of visitors to our website, and we use cookies to track the pages you’ve visited on our website. This allows us to provide visitors to our website with certain conveniences, such as your favorite charity and eligible charities in your area (this is an anticipated feature we expect to develop in the future. . We also use cookies to track the path of users through our website, and to keep track of how they arrived at our website (for example, via a search engine). We also collect aggregate tracking information derived mainly from tallying page views throughout our website, and we use Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting to access third-party audience data such as age, gender and interests on an aggregate basis.

When your transaction results in funding for a charity, that charity will receive a check for the funds from IIC in addition to a letter that identifies you as the individual who chose that charity to receive the funds.

Charities:
When required by law: We may share your personal information, if deemed necessary, in our good faith judgment, to comply with laws or regulations of a governmental or regulatory body or in response to a valid subpoena, warrant or order or to protect the rights of our organization or others.
Website visibility:We will display your organization name, logo, city, state, focus area, annual budget, amount raised through IIC, total # of IIC transactions, and most recent IIC transaction.We do not display or make public contact name, contact email, contact phone, mailing address, or EIN.

Verification of affiliation and eligibility:
If you indicate in your account profile that you are a part of any professional affiliations (for example, Teach for America, NEA or New York Teaching Fellow), we may share your full name, email address and phone number with the partner organization or another member of the organization in order to verify your affiliation. These partners are only authorized to use this information for the purpose of verification.
Similarly, we may share your full name, email address and project information with your school administrators or colleagues to confirm that you are eligible to use Investing In Communities or take part in certain funding opportunities.

Anonymized data sharing
We publish insights gained through user activity on our website (and welcome the public to do the same) in the reports available at data.Investing In Communities. However, we will never publicly disclose your personal information in these reports.
