AT NO COST TO YOU, GET FUNDING FOR Music of the Baroque WHEN YOU: Buy a Home / Sell a Home / Lease Commercial Property

Buying, Selling, & Leasing Supports Music of the Baroque

Music of the Baroque is a premier classical music organization in Chicago that is committed to using this music to make their city a better place. As a member of Investing In Communities®, this organization can receive funding as a result of any brokered real estate transaction – home sales, home purchases, and commercial leases. $2,056 has already been raised. As more supporters use this platform, at no cost to themselves, before engaging a real estate agent, this nonprofit will have more resources to deliver high quality musical performances and enhance Chicago public school musical education.

Praised by critics, this nonprofit is one of the leading professional performance groups for classical music, particularly 18th century, across the United States. Beyond just enriching Chicago with its musical performances, also partners with six local public schools to boost their programs for choral education. Their mission is supported through fundraising events such as A Musical Feast Gala and the Bach Family Society.

Strong Voices Arts Education Program

Rather than just popping in for a special guest appearance, Music of the Baroque music instructors partner with school choral programs throughout the school year.  Students are invited to attend events and are exposed to what it looks like to pursue musical talents professionally. Through the Strong Voices Arts Education Program, Chicago students are offered a chance to be coached by leading classical musicians as a part of their weekly  school routine. Beyond just honing their talent as budding musical artists, students also develop:

  • Confidence;
  • Discipline;
  • Perseverance;
  • Responsibility; and
  • Teamwork.

A Musical Feast

A Musical Feast is a gala, concert, and raffle held in the Spring each year. The black tie event raised over $440,000 in 2019.

Bach Family Society

Members of the Bach Family Society are recognized for their planned gifts to Music of the Baroque. Society members enjoy perks such as invitations to meet musicians, attend dress rehearsals, special events, and other VIP privileges. For those with a passion for performing arts and music education, the Bach Family Society is an excellent way to support the performance of classical music in Chicago.
