Buying, Selling, & Leasing Helps Provide Financial and Medical Assistance for Veterans
After serving in their nation’s armed forces, many veterans face financial, physical, and emotional challenges as they search for new work or adapt to life with injuries. SALUTE, INC (SI). helps US military veterans with the transition. As a member of Investing In Communities, SALUTE, INC. can receive funding from the real estate transactions of its supporters, at no cost to the supporter or to SALUTE, INC. As more supporters use this platform, at no cost to them, before engaging a real estate agent, SALUTE, INC. will have more resources to dedicate to supporting real American heroes as they resume their civilian lives.
In addition to organizing military fundraisers, SALUTE, INC. offers a host of services and programs for military veterans. Founded in 2003 in the aftermath of 9/11, SALUTE, INC. has been giving back to service men and women ever since. And, SI gets creative with fundraisers! The Mrs. Veteran America competition is an event where contestants are sponsored to run in combat boots, instead of running shoes, to raise funds for SALUTE, INC. In addition to the Financial Assistance Program, SALUTE, INC. also offers home-based family and veteran care via the Home-Based Veteran and Family Care program, the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program, the Walking Tall Cane Project, and rehabilitation services at the Shepherd Center.
