After serving in their nation’s armed forces, many veterans face financial, physical, and emotional challenges as they search for new work or adapt to life with injuries. SALUTE, INC (SI). helps US military veterans with the transition. As a member of Investing In Communities, SALUTE, INC. can receive funding from the real estate transactions of its supporters, at no cost to the supporter or to SALUTE, INC. As more supporters use this platform, at no cost to them, before engaging a real estate agent, SALUTE, INC. will have more resources to dedicate to supporting real American heroes as they resume their civilian lives.

SALUTE, INC. offers a host of services and programs for military veterans. Founded in 2003 in the aftermath of 9/11, SALUTE, INC. has been giving back to service men and women ever since.
SALUTE’s largest program is the Financial Assistance Program for injured military members and veterans.  Whether they are leaving military life behind or are actively deployed, military veterans and their families often face challenging financial hurdles. SALUTE, INC.’s Financial Assistance Program is designed to help get these families out of tight spots and keep them on their feet by helping with:
  • Rent or Mortgage Payments;
  • Car-related Expenses;
  • Phone, Internet, and Utility Bills; and
  • Other significant expenses weighing military families down.

Other programs provided by SALUTE:

SALUTE, INC. also supports veterans enrolled in hospital-based mental health programs through payment of everyday expenses incurred during their stay at the hospital.   SALUTE partners with major hospitals such as RUSH University Medical Center , the Emory Healthcare Veterans Program, UCLA Operation Mend, and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Veteran Program to provide these services.   The hospital programs  are aimed at treating emotional and psychological wounds such as post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety or military sexual trauma.

Walking Tall Cane Project

For veterans and active service members in need of a cane, SALUTE, INC. provides complementary, high quality canes that fit the body types and needs of each veteran or soldier through the Walking Tall Cane Project.

Shepherd Center

SALUTE, INC. partners with the Shepherd Center’s SHARE program to provide financial support for veterans with spinal, brain, or blast injuries.
Neuro Community Care LLC (NCC) is an independent provider of case management & community support services for persons with brain injury and other neurological disorders.  SALUTE is proud to support the veterans referred by NCC with adaptive equipment and living expenses.

Everyday, SALUTE is dedicated to meeting the financial, physical and emotional needs of injured military service members, veterans, and their families.

At no cost to themselves, anyone who cares about supporting military veterans and service members can turn virtually any brokered real estate transaction into funding for SALUTE, INC. As a tax exempt 501(c)3 organization, SALUTE, INC. is eligible to receive at least 70% of the referral fee when you use Investing In Communities (IIC) to sign up with ANY real estate broker to handle your residential or commercial property transaction. Referral fees are a common expense paid by brokers only to other brokers for much desired referrals. As a licensed broker with a charitable mission, IIC is able to accept referral fees and pass most of those funds to your charity of choice - at no cost to you.
